Portland’s Economic Scorecard

February 5, 2014

Helping Portland position itself for a bright economic future.

Working closely with the Portland Maine Chamber of Commerce, Camoin Associates released Portland's 2014 Economic Scorecard, which is Camoin's third update to the initial 2007 report. The Scorecard measures the Portland region's annual standing on 32 economic indicators against its standing in previous years and against a group of benchmark regions that exhibit similar characteristics. For Portland, the 2014 Scorecard provides insight into how well the region is positioning itself as an attractive place to live, work, and do business. With a thorough understanding of its strengths and how these strengths are changing over time, Portland will be able to position itself for sustained economic development.
