Bethany joined Camoin Associates in 2017 with an interest in sustainable economic development. Prior to joining Camoin, Bethany worked as a Project Coordinator for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). At NYSERDA she completed metric and spatial analysis, revised research proposals, and conducted technical reviews. She also worked in Cluj, Romania with Anca Elena Gurzau MD, PhD conducting quantitative and qualitative water quality research in rural communities. In addition to Romania, Bethany also worked in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador researching and facilitating community development.
Bethany holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University at Albany. She received her Bachelors in Environmental Science with minors in Economics and Chemistry from Siena College. During her time at Siena, Bethany worked at Cohoes City Hall with the Building & Planning and Engineering Departments to review proposals, assemble bid packages and assist with onsite inspections of city property. Additionally, she promoted public outreach within the community through presentations and management of social media accounts.
Bethany is passionate about nature and helping others. In her free time, she enjoys helping out at a local animal hospital, hiking and deep sea fishing.
