Fort Stanwix Visitor Center
Study As part of an environmental assessment, Camoin Associates analyzed the potential economic and fiscal impact of three alternative sites for a proposed visitor center at the Fort Stanwix National Historic Monument. Camoin Associates created a municipal revenue and expenditure model to determine which development scenarios would have a positive fiscal impact on the City’s budget. Camoin Associates projected the increased visitation and spending that would result from the new visitor center, utilizing a model developed for the National Park Service.
